Bhutan Hiking Tour Packages

Day hikes between the dzongs and valleys, a hotel bed every night, and Tiger's Nest to finish — all-inclusive, at your own pace.

What is a Bhutan hiking tour?

A hiking tour walks the valleys that a cultural tour drives through. Each day has a trail in it, from an hour above Punakha's rice terraces to the Khamsum Yulley chorten, to a full day up to Phajoding Monastery at 3,700 metres, with the same dzongs, temples and farmhouse evenings in between, and a hotel bed every night. It is not a trek: there is no camping, no porters, and nothing that needs more than good walking shoes and a comfortable level of fitness. The Tiger's Nest hike guide describes the walk every itinerary ends with.

Every hiking tour above is all-inclusive: the daily Sustainable Development Fee, your visa, 3-star hotels, all meals, a licensed guide, private transport and entry fees are inside the price shown on each page, with no extra charge for the hikes. If you want nights under canvas and high passes, our multi-day treks are the next step, and the trekking and day-hikes guide explains the difference.

Every itinerary is a starting point, not a fixed route — send a free inquiry and we will add, shorten or swap hikes to suit your group.
